On October the 3rd I hiked down to the spill way at Deer Lake State Park. The outflow spillway was closed off. It looked like it could break open after a heavy rain. Was able to record several segments of video from the Lake and from the Gulf side. The Gulf of Mexico was stunningly beautiful. It looked like the Caribbean. The water was very warm. Maybe the last trip with a summer feel with warm water. It wouldn't be long before the fall temperatures come along and the water will cool down. Here are few of the images I captured with the still camera.
